It was a year ago today–March 29, 2023, that Evan Gershkovich, a 2014 graduate of Bowdoin College, and a Moscow reporter for the Wall Street Journal, was suddenly detained by Russian authorities on entirely unsubstantiated spying allegations.Today on The Buzz we spent some time looking back and looking forward with the man who has joined us on this story throughout the past year–NBC News national security analyst Marc Polymeropoulos, a 26-year veteran of the CIA.
