22 Feb Breaking from WCME: Accidental Shooting in Brunswick
In Brunswick, two men have been sent to hospitals with injuries not considered to be life-threatening after an apparent accidental shooting now under investigation. Police say they were called to a residence at 8 Guadalcanal Drive, where a gathering was undrway, and where a 29-year-old man from West Bath was reportedly showing an unloaded Sig Sauer 9 millimeter handgun to a 28-year-old man from Brunswick. When the West Bath man reloaded the weapon, it went off, going through his hand and continuing through the leg of the other man–and finally striking a refrigerator.
No names have been released and so far no charges have been filed.
