17 Feb Breaking News from WCME: Traffic Fatality in Bath
In Bath, police are investigating the death of a 70-year-old woman struck and killed by an SUV on Washington Street near King Street. The woman, an employee of Bath Iron Works, whose name is being withheld while police attempt to notify her relatives, was an employee of Bath Iron Works. The driver, 57-year-old Edward Buzzell, also a shipyard employee, was traveling north on Washington Street and apparently struck the woman in a crosswalk. No charges so far–the woman died at the scene.
