From WCME News 9: Armed Robbery in Brunswick

A Friday evening armed robbery at the Big Apple convenience store on Pleasant Street in Brunswick, and police have arrested two suspects. The investigation began after police received a call from a clerk saying she had been robbed by a white female with a handgun. Police went to the store, viewed surveillance video, went to an address on Dunlop Street and arrested 21-year-old Jacqueline Carpenter-Young of Bath. A short time later, they also picked up 37-year-old Shawn Cook of Brunswick, who was apparently the woman’s driver.

Police say they have recovered the suspected vehicle, a handgun and an undisclosed amount of money. Both suspects are at the Cumberland County Jail with bail set at ten thousand dollars.
