It lasted for less than an hour late but this morning but 7600 Midcoast customers of Central Maine Power lost their electricity when a dump truck made contact with a transmission line on Church Road in Brunswick. Most of the outages were in Brunswick and Harpswell but power was also lost by some electric customers in Topsham and Freeport.
