From WCME News 9: Storm Update

Central Maine Power crews are making notable progress in electric power restoration efforts in the aftermath of wind gusts as high as 50 miles an hour that have caused tree limbs to come down–sometimes on power lines and traffic lights.

Thousands of outages remain, but most outed power in Freeport, where 2500 customers lost their juice, has now been restored. Over 100 outages remain in Harpswell, 90 in Topsham, and there are scattered outages in Lisbon and Durham.

Over 900 CMP customers are without power in Bowdoinham as well as over 100 in Bowdoin.

In Lincoln County, CMP reports 170 outed customers in Edgecomb.

Cross Point Road in Edgecomb has been closed for removal of downed utility wires.
