Jim Bleikamp here. I should have shared this long ago. Several months ago, a talented listener at Spindleworks–the wonderful arts center for adults with disabilities in Brunswick–constructed this model of a WCME vehicle, which was subsequently delivered to us as a gift. Since then, it has been on permanent display in the window of our very visible studio on the ground floor at Fort Andross.
It is easily my favorite momento of the radio station. It also serves as a daily reminder that we should be extremely careful in judgements, labeling and categorization of our fellow human beings.
