About This Project

The chief follows up on a disclosure from the Maine Attorney General’s Office that the state’s yellow flag law has been invoked 14 times since the Lewiston shootings, to take away someone’s access to guns, and in three of those cases, the name of Robert Card was mentioned by the subject of the yellow flag action.

One of those three cases was in Brunswick, where police invoked the law this past Sunday after a 29-year-old man apparently claimed to have been ordered to kill his parents or son and mentioned Card’s name.
