Troy is a progressive Democrat who has consistently won elections in conservative Aroostook County, and tells us that he believes that “everything the Democratic Party stands for is good” but also says Democrats need to talk more about economic issues, saying that “if people can’t put a roof over their head, or pay their health insurance, or even have health insurance, they are not going to connect with you on anything else.”
