Veteran MaiReporter Stephen Betts With A Story That Brings Immigration Back Home on the WCME Midcoast Morning Buzz

Stephen told us more about his breaking story from the conservative town of Friendship in Knox County, where President Trump is quite popular, and where Dale Patel, the owner/operator of the only market in town was picked up in late June by ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement), after emigrating from India in 2010.

The town rallied behind the man who had served them for years, and at the beginning of this interview we received an update from Stephen–that charges against Patel were dismissed in federal court in Boston, and he is now back home in Friendship with his family.
