12 Nov WCME Midcoast News: Sexual Assault on Bowdoin College Student
In Brunswick, police are investigating an alleged sexual assault on a female Bowdoin College student living in the Mayflower Apartments on Belmont Street.
The incident apparently happened on Tuesday evening when the woman reported that she was assaulted by an unknown male assailant who entered her apartment through an unlocked exterior door.
She was later examined and treated at Midcoast Hospital. In the aftermath, all Bowdoin students are being asked to remain alert and vigilant and make sure their apartment and residence hall doors are secured.
