NBC News National Security Analyst Marc Polymeropoulos on the WCME Midcoast Morning Buzz

Marc is a 26-year-veteran of the CIA, a die-hard Red Sox fan and a reguar guest on the WCME Midcoast Morning Buzz–often following the ongoing saga of Evan Gershkovich, the Wall Street Journal reporter and Bowdoin College graduate, who remains imprisoned in Moscow on spying allegations that have never been substantiated by the Russians.

Last week, Donald Trump stirred up some major clamor with his declaration that if he is ree-elected president, Russian president Putin will quickly grant freedom to Gershkovich.

Marc Polymeropoulos reacted to this event on today’s Buzz–calling Trump’s remarks “not helpful” and “absurd”, after some obligatory Red Sox analysis.
