Marine Mammals of Maine on the WCME Creature Feature

For years, I’ve marveled at the photos I see on the Facebook page run by Marine Mammals of Maine–the Bath-based organization that regularly rescues marine animals and helps injured animals at the shore to heal.

Today, I learned much more about this organization by talking to its executive director–Lynda Doughty–on the WCME Creature Feature.

And I very much like the fact that we have expanded the Creature Feature beyond the animals that you might have as pets.

The animals helped by MMOM likely will never be in your home–but then again that’s not their habitat.

These are after all the animals of the water.
